Hi Alisha, it is very nice to meet you. I agree with you that learning happens through discovery and experience. I also believe that learning is a choice and teaching should be student centered. As a teacher it would be very easy for me to teach students in a way that I would learn best or in a way that I like to teach. However, I know that all learning styles must be accommodated for learning to take place. I also like your comment about data driven instruction. Formative and summative assessments are great tools to use when planning lessons and remediation.
Of your three statements I will guess that your statement about Florida is not true. You were actually very convincing when saying all three things, so I am actually not very confident in my guess. I look forward to the next eight weeks together in this class. Cecelia Baggott
